My name is Stéphanie Dussain. I am a professional French translator with over 20 years of experience, helping IGOs, NGOs and development stakeholders in communicating clearly and meaningfully across languages and cultures.
I hold a Master’s degree in Translation (English and Spanish into French) and began my career with the French Red Cross in Paris, followed by Fundación Intervida in Barcelona.
I have also passed the UN Translator Examination, a highly selective certification that reflects advanced expertise in institutional translation.
Over the years, I have collaborated as a freelance translator with a wide range of United Nations agencies, including FAO, UNDP, UNDRR, UNEP, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNODC, UN Women, and WHO.
Today, I help organizations working on global challenges ensure their messages are not only accurate, but also resonate with the people they are meant to reach.
